There is plenty to experience in Valle Aurina during the summer holidays! For example, the Skiworld Ahrntal (Valle Aurina) with Mount Klausberg (Monte Chiusetta) invites you to embark on extensive hikes across the Nature Park Riesenferner-Ahrn. Starting point for a hike is the cable car Klausberg. Families with young children can safely get on the road, as many routes can be walked without problems with the stroller. Another nice idea is to visit the summer toboggan run. If you feel like a real adrenaline rush, the Klausberg Flitzer is the right choice for you: The toboggan run on the Klausberg is Italy’s longest Alpine roller coaster and guarantees pure fun at 1800 meters with many jumps and gyroscopes, and up to 40 km/h!
The mountain railway Speikboden in the Skiworld Ahrntal (Valle Aurina) in Sand in Taufers offers a good starting point for an exciting hike through the beautiful nature of the Speikboden region.
